Stanisława Celińska graduated from the State Higher School of Theatre in Warsaw in 1970. She worked with the following theaters: Współczesny, Ateneum, Na Woli, Dramatyczny and Studio, and currently works with Nowy Teatr in Warsaw. Thanks to her dramatic and comedic skills, she is successfully cast in contemporary films, playing both supporting and leading roles.
Stanisława Celińska is also a singing actress. She often appears at the Actor’s Song Reviews in Wrocław. She is currently presenting a recital entitled “A Beautiful World.” These are poetic and philosophical reflections on life, passing, joy, pain, longing and hope. Celińska tells stories about life through songs with lyrics by Jan Kochanowski, Bulat Okudzhava, Julian Tuwim, Andrzej Bursa, Papusza, Jerememi Przybora and Jonasz Kofta, with music by Henryk Wars, Jerzy Petersburski, Jerzy Wasowski, Tomasz Bajerski and Ryszard Żyliński.
During the recital, the artist will be accompanied on piano by Tomasz Bajerski.
Tickets cost PLN 35 and are available at the JCK ticket office at 28/30 Bankowa Street and at www.bilety.jck.pl. The ticket office is open Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and for two hours before the event.
