Next year, drivers will be able to use a new bypass. The Lubin County Board signed an agreement with the investor concerning the planned change to the route of this road as early as July last year, and a few days ago the county authorities adopted a redevelopment project that will serve as the basis for issuing approval to carry out this investment.
– The board’s decision to change the route of this road brings nothing but benefits. In this way, we can support one of our largest local investors, which will primarily benefit residents. The historic palace will be separated from the busy and narrow road, while drivers will be able to use a new section of road that will make travel along this stretch much easier – says Damian Stawikowski, Deputy Starost of Lubin County.
The new section of road will be 450 metres long, and the carriageway will be 7 metres wide, with 3.5 metres for each traffic lane. The road will include pavements on both sides, lighting and a bus stop in the form of a loop serving passengers travelling in both directions.
The investor, Dariusz Miłek, the current owner of the palace in Chróstnik, will fully finance this investment, estimated to cost approximately PLN 4 million. It will also enable him to complete the work connected with the reconstruction of our local historic landmark.
