Members of the veterans’ association summed up the past year. The Saturday meeting was also an opportunity to exchange good wishes and share the Christmas wafer. "Just a few years ago, our association had 1,300 members," said Włodzimierz Kowalski, honorary chairman of ZKRPiBWP, during the ceremony. "Today, there are only three hundred of us. We hope that the memory of those who leave our ranks will remain alive among the residents of our county," said Włodzimierz Kowalski.
The ceremony was attended by Bolesławiec County Governor Krzysztof Konopka, County Council Chairman Jan Cołokidzi, Deputy County Council Chairwoman Janina Piestrak-Babijczuk, Bolesławiec Deputy Mayor Karol Stasik, and Rural Commune Head Kazimierz Gawron.
