The competition was held in two categories – individual and group. Participants competed for the Mayor’s special prize and attractive awards funded by local companies.
This year, Ceramika Artystyczna prepared an exceptional presentation. The ceramics company’s employees appeared in elaborate costumes styled as peacock feathers and peacocks. They turned the parade into a colorful, energetic ceramic carnival and won first place in the group category.
Second place went to the students of Katarzyna Sas (MDK art studio), who dressed up as a stamped ceramic dragon. Third place went to employees of the Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej, who composed a special anthem for the parade, styled after Maanam’s song “Nie poganiaj mnie, bo tracę oddech”.
Group distinctions went to: the KOKOSY group operating at GOKIS Gromadka, Futbol Akademii (a football school for children), and the youth fire brigade from Czerna.
Three places and three distinctions were awarded in the individual category.
