Work related to the implementation of the Legnica Civic Budget projects is nearing completion in Zakaczawie. Functional and modern playgrounds, pavements and a waste container enclosure will be created in the inner courtyards.
In this part of the city, residents selected three projects in a vote. The first was the revitalization of a courtyard. A recreation area with play equipment for children and an enclosure containing waste containers has been created.
– Our courtyard has changed for the better, says Mrs. Maria, a resident of one of the tenement buildings. – The children are very happy because they have a good place to play. It looks nice, and we will have to take care of it.
The second project involves constructing pavements in another courtyard and a chessboard in Targowy Square. The laying of concrete block paving is practically complete. The chessboard is to be ready by September 1.
The third project is also being completed in the same courtyard: the construction of a playground for children with a recreation area. The place has changed its appearance thanks to the colorful equipment. The new pavements will make it easier to reach the courtyard and the buildings.
LBO investments are already serving residents
As part of the first edition of the LBO, six modern and functional playgrounds for children have already been completed. Outdoor gyms, mainly for adults, have been created in two locations, making recreation more accessible to residents in their immediate surroundings.
