Two young men, aged 18 and 20, were detained by officers from the Kłodzko Border Guard Post. During an outdoor event in Radków (Kłodzko County), the men wanted to sell marijuana and amphetamine. Both were intoxicated.
Officers searched the detainees’ homes. A total of 5.5 g of marijuana, 4.5 g of amphetamine, as well as Indian hemp seeds, were found. Further proceedings are being conducted by police officers from Kłodzko.
Meanwhile, officers from the post in Świecko detained a 29-year-old man. During operations conducted together with customs officers from a mobile group, nearly 4 kg of marijuana was found. The resident of Podlaskie Voivodeship, returning from the Netherlands, was carrying the drugs in a bag with clothes. Three plastic bags filled with greenish dried plant material with a characteristic smell had been covered with personal belongings. Customs officers confirmed that the transported drug was marijuana.
The officers from Świecko have already charged the detained Polish national with transporting a significant quantity of narcotic drugs; the man admitted guilt. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
