Police officers from the Criminal Department of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters arrested a 31-year-old resident of Osiecznica Municipality suspected of burglary. On the last weekend of July this year, the suspect broke into a shed located in one of Bolesławiec’s allotment gardens. The criminal stole construction equipment, including a laser level and rangefinder belonging to the company renovating the shed. The losses were estimated at PLN 800.
During their investigation, the police recovered all of the property lost as a result of the crime. It will be returned to its rightful owner. The 31-year-old admitted to the alleged offense and gave a statement in the matter. Burglary is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
