The Polish Red Cross in Bolesławiec organized a "Red Cross Star" event before the holidays. It distributed 140 food packages to people in need. During the "Star of Kindness" event, 50 liters of red borscht and 400 cabbage dumplings were handed out in the Market Square. Residents of the Polish Red Cross Homeless Shelter baked several trays of cake, while PCK youth distributed 666 Red Cross cookies.
During the holidays, the PCK shelter in Bolesławiec prepared a Christmas Eve dinner for more than 40 people, inviting homeless people who were not staying at the shelter.
