On Thursday night, the Bolesławiec fire service was notified of a fire on the premises of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre on Spacerowa Street. A shed adjoining a utility and garage building was on fire. Thanks to an efficient and rapid response, the firefighters managed to stop the fire.
The endangered building contained a Lublin delivery van, two tractors, a lawn mower and many other valuable items. Two crews from the Fire and Rescue Unit in Bolesławiec took part in the operation.
Thursday’s fire was the second to occur on the premises of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre recently. Exactly one week earlier, an ice cream parlour there had burned down.
