We reported that the head of the Bolesławiec PCK became Zbigniew Herbut, replacing Adam Fornal. As it turned out, the latter was offered the position of deputy head of the Polish Red Cross and accepted it.
The newly elected vice-president, representing the PCK Main Board, oversees the Małopolska and Opole branches. “I tried to do my best for my city. On the day I left, the Bolesławiec branch was recognized as the best in Lower Silesia,” Adam Fornal said in an interview with “ii.” “I would like to congratulate my female and male colleagues. And I hope it will continue to be that way.”
The PCK vice-president emphasizes that he does not intend to distance himself from his roots. “After all, these are not two different organizations,” he points out. “Our founder already said that we are all brothers. I will certainly have less time than before, but without a doubt I will visit my colleagues from PCK in Bolesławiec and pass on the latest information to them.”

As we have learned, there is more to the matter. It was at the request of other members of the Bolesławiec PCK that Adam Fornal was dismissed from the position of president at the end of May. Seven people voted in favor of his dismissal, three against, and one abstained.
