The Kielce tournament took place on 15 December. Bobrzanie played with the following lineup: Markowski, Bek, Sosnowski, Kurianowicz and Granda. Despite their good performance and advancement to the final round, the Bolesławiec players could not take part in it. The reason was a lack of funds. The final matches were scheduled for Sunday; unfortunately, the Bolesławiec footballers could not afford a return trip to Kielce.
Despite the financial barriers, the Bolesławiec players can consider the tournament a success. In addition to their own performances, the boys had the opportunity to see how football stars handled playing on the court. There were also opportunities to collect autographs from well-known footballers and take commemorative photos. The Kielce tournament hosted footballers who played daily in the Orange Ekstraklasa. The Bobrzanie team received an invitation to next year's tournament.
Next year, the Bolesławiec players will compete in the VIP group and have the opportunity to face the invited stars on the pitch. In addition, one of the Orange Ekstraklasa footballers will be assigned to the Bobrzanie team. The Bobrzanie juniors' appearance in the Kielce tournament proved to be a success for Bolesławiec's young players. It was also an opportunity to promote our city.
