Our team started the match better, taking the lead as early as the 2nd minute. Michał Błoński’s cross was met by Michał BłońskiPiotr DzięgleskiPiotr Dzięgleski, who put the ball into the net while the Karkonosze Jelenia Góra defenders stood passively by. The early goal conceded spurred the hosts into action. The Karkonosze players began attacking Kowalski’s goal with increasing intensity, and they did not have to wait long for the results. In the 15th minute, after a free-kick, the ball bounced off the crossbar of Kowalski’s goal and fell to a Jelenia Góra player, who completed the move. The rest of the match was played mainly in the middle of the pitch, with the hosts enjoying a slight advantage. We went into the break level at 1–1.
The opening of the second half belonged to the BKS-u Bobrzanie Bolesławiec players, who pushed forward towards the opponents’ goal. Unfortunately, shots by Majka and W. Glanc failed to find the net. Our team’s good play continued until the 70th minute, when the hosts shifted into a higher gear and began to dominate on the pitch. In the 85th minute, Karkonosze delivered the decisive blow. After a quick counterattack, Malarowski beat Kowalski. The BKS players still tried to equalise, but their efforts came to nothing, and another away defeat became a fact.
The match against Karkonosze brought the IV liga autumn round to an end, with our players managing to earn just two points away from home. Fortunately, thanks to our good home form, we remain in the middle of the table.
Two return fixtures will still be played early this year. Next weekend, BKS will play away against KP Brzeg Dolny, and two weeks later they will also play away against MKS Szczawno-Zdrój.
