The project was held under the patronage of Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman. The aim of the meetings was to provide participants with information on how to spend a safe holiday, identify the dangers associated with using unguarded bodies of water, and inform them about the desired conduct during accidents.
The project was aimed at pupils in grades IV–VI of Bolesławiec primary schools and grades I–III of lower-secondary schools, as well as residents of the II Community Self-Help Home in Bolesławiec. The meetings were conducted by representatives of the Municipal Police, the Bolesławiec District Branch of the Volunteer Water Rescue Service, and the District Police Headquarters.
The campaign organisers were: the Municipal Police in Bolesławiec, the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, the District Branch of the Volunteer Water Rescue Service in Bolesławiec, the Sports and Recreation Indoor Swimming Pool Ltd. in Bolesławiec, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec, and the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre in Bolesławiec.
