The Days of Bolesławiec are underway. Saturday (June 21) is filled with the rhythms of the South Slavic Culture Festival. Folk ensembles are performing on stage. The program includes performances by, among others, Niespodzianki from Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, Niezapominajki from Osła and the Jutrzenka Song and Dance Ensemble. A competition for the best pita and Balkan cauldron dish is also underway. Fans of South Slavic cuisine can try pita in many flavors, as well as other South Slavic specialties. The treats can be purchased in wooden stalls (the repatriates’ settlement).
