Today in the evening, winds reaching gusts of 85 km/h are expected. The wind should weaken overnight from Thursday to Friday. During the day on Friday, wind speeds are expected to increase again. This time, gusts may reach 95 km/h. The wind gusts will be accompanied by rain and snow, gradually turning into snow. Strong winds are expected to weaken overnight from 16 to 17 December.
The voivode has appealed to Lower Silesia residents to exercise caution and secure buildings, cars and other items that could pose a danger during the gale. At the same time, he assured residents that the weather situation would be monitored by the Crisis Management Department of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office in Wrocław.
