The Polish Muay Thai Championships were held on June 7–8 in Świebodzice. In the children’s category, Bolesławiec was represented by four athletes from the Gladiator Combat Sports Club. Three of them won medals: Oliwia Ziembikiewicz gold, while Miłosz Drużba and Marcelina Czuchraj won silver.
The most exciting bout was Miłosz’s, as he faced Borys Mikołajczyk in the final, a trainee of the Polish national team coach, a world runner-up and a multiple Polish champion. Miłosz, whom many experts expected to suffer a heavy defeat, fought three even rounds against his highly decorated opponent and narrowly lost on points.
