The MEP visited Bolesławiec on Saturday. She began her visit by opening her constituency office at 15 Opitza Street. Daniel Biernat became the MEP’s assistant and will receive visitors. The office will be open on Thursdays from 12:00 to 17:00.
After opening the office, Lidia Geringer de Oedenberg went to the town hall to meet with entrepreneurs. Unfortunately, only a dozen or so people were in the room. There might have been more, but the caretaker did not know that a meeting was taking place and did not let in people who had arrived before the MEP. The entrepreneurs present spoke about obtaining European funds and the related problems, which are in fact created not by European, but by Polish institutions and offices.
In the evening, the MEP met with children and young people. School European Clubs and youth groups from Bolesławiec were present. The young people asked, among other things, about the European Union budget and the possibility of visiting the European Parliament.
