The opening took place as part of the Czech Museum Night. The exhibition presents both vessels from the 1950s and the newest, contemporary designs, which are very popular in the Czech Republic. The works feature a wide range of glazes and decorations. Alongside traditional “stamps,” visitors can see flowing glazes, craquelé, sculptural relief decoration and motifs painted with a brush. Among the approximately 220 exhibits are vessels designed by such renowned artists as Izabela Zdrzałka, Wanda Matus, Bronisław Wolanin and Janian Bany-Kozłowska.
