The Pierogi Festival is over. It took place on May 25 in Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka (Bolesławiec Municipality). The event was organized by the Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka Village Organizing Committee and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn.

There was also a competition for the tastiest pierogi, in which rural housewives’ associations from across our county took part. This year, the pierogi were judged by two committees: one selected by the organizers (comprising Zdzisława and Ryszard Miziniakowie as well as Franciszek Popek), and another selected by the audience.
