The conference will be held at the Old Theatre on 22 May 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The conference is intended for representatives of governing bodies, directors of kindergartens, schools and educational institutions, educators, teachers responsible for organising psychological and educational assistance in schools, and parents.

- Statistical data concerning students with special educational needs, including children/students with disabilities
- “Risk and protective factors in the development of depression and anxiety disorders in children and young people” — lecture by Dr Monika Szewczuk-Bogusławska a child psychiatrist and academic staff member at Wrocław Medical University
- Presentation of the results of a survey on psychoactive substance addiction among students of lower- and upper-secondary schools in Bolesławiec County
- “An autistic child in a preschool group and in a class” — lecture by Dr Barbara Winczura a special education teacher and academic staff member at the University of Wrocław
- Early support for the child’s development; planning teacher training in line with anticipated needs arising from the type of disability affecting children receiving early support
