Officers from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław developed a concept in mid-2013 to organize preventive police bicycle patrols throughout the province. The Marshal’s Office provided funding for the project. The funds were used to purchase 35 bicycles and equipment, provide uniforms, and conduct specialist training.
