Residents of Siegburg, Bolesławiec’s partner city, condemned the offense committed by three Germans who put up anti-Polish posters. They described the entire action as “stupid and contrary to what is being attempted between the old and new residents of Bolesławiec.”

The authors of the letter, former pre-war residents of the city and their descendants, expressed hope that this incident would not hinder the further development of the partnership between Bolesławiec and Siegburg.
