The renovation work will cost approximately half a million złoty. The Bolesławiec City Office provided PLN 200,000, a grant from the Ministry of Culture – the General Conservator of Monuments amounted to PLN 100,000, and a grant from the Lower Silesian Marshal's Office amounted to PLN 30,000. Altogether, this totals PLN 330,000 in grants from local-government and state institutions. PLN 170,000 is the contribution of Sponsors and the local Parish Community.

The parish also submitted requests to the Church Fund in Warsaw, from which it has not yet received any indication of possible support. Father Dr. Andrzej Jarosiewicz, the parish priest and, at the same time, the Sanctuary's custodian, told Boleslawiec.org that the parish community still needs to raise approximately PLN 50,000 to balance the expenses related to the roof renovation.

The church tower also requires urgent renovation work, as cracks have appeared in it. For safety reasons, the parish bells installed in the tower are not being rung. Therefore, completing the roof renovation does not mean that the entire project is finished, but only that its first, very important and financially difficult stage has been completed. The next step will be to begin efforts to obtain funding for the tower renovation.
