Two men—a 29-year-old and a 27-year-old, both residents of Bolesławiec—were apprehended by officers from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters. They are suspected of breaking into a combined heat and power plant. The incident occurred during the night of March 11–12. The suspects cut through the fence and then broke into the workshop building, stealing drills and equipment for measuring pressure in engines. The losses were estimated at PLN 700.
Both detainees confessed to the crime; one of them had previously been convicted of similar offenses. They now face up to 10 years in prison. Police recovered the stolen property.
