The Lower Silesian Swimming Competition is behind us. The event, contested by swimmers from 26 clubs, took place on 4–5 April in Lubań. The UKS Oxpress team won six medals, including three golds.

A worthy successor is emerging for the older finalists in this year's Polish swimming championships – Julita Jośko, who won a silver medal in the 50 m freestyle in the under-10 category. In the under-11 category, Iwan Suschanka won a bronze medal in the same event and is also a hope for the club.

The participants in the most recent Polish swimming championships confirmed their dominance in Lower Silesia, decisively winning their signature events – Agata Knapik in the 100 m butterfly and 100 m individual medley, and Iza Tkaczyk in the 100 m backstroke. Iza also won a silver medal in the 50 m freestyle.
