The green areas between Sierpnia 80' and Ogrodowa streets were cleared, after which plants, shrubs and trees were planted there. The Planty will be decorated with, among other things, roses, boxwood, evergreen barberry, cotoneaster, lavender, snowberry and catalpa. The 15 trees planted include Siberian spruce, fir, black pine, Macedonian pine and maples. New pedestrian paths were built in the Planty, and stylish benches were installed.

More than PLN 90,000 from the city budget was spent on renovating the Planty. To protect the plants from theft, they were painted with special fluorescent paint. The benches were also secured against thieves. For this purpose, the city crest was embedded in them.
