The “From Spain to the Orient” Festival will take place on 24 April at Forum. Just before the concert, at 5:30 p.m., there will be an opening of an exhibition of paintings by Renata Brzozowska, entitled “Flamenco Dance”.

Renata Brzozowska mainly works in figurative oil painting. She is fascinated by people, dance, movement, wind in the hair and fire in the soul.

For her, dance is a universal language for conveying a world that eludes words. She is captivated by the powerful energy and magic of dance, which, as it turns out, can be conveyed and reproduced endlessly.

After the exhibition opening, at 6:00 p.m., the following groups will perform in the Forum hall: the Oriental Dance Workshop and the “Carmen” Flamenco Dance School, operating as part of BOK-MCC’s amateur artistic movement. Both groups will present a fusion of oriental and Spanish dance.

The evening’s attraction will be performances by invited guests. A world-famous oriental dance star and winner of the most prestigious international competitions, Jamilah, will perform together with Tatiana, a member of the Dream Dancers group. Both women will perform oriental dances in colorful costumes. A professional flamenco dance performance will be presented by Katarzyna Radułowicz-Persony together with her group. This group’s performance will be accompanied by live music.
