The Mayor of the Municipality of Lwówek Śląski Ludwik Kaziów and the president of the Bolesławiec Water and Sewerage Company Józef Król signed a notarial deed under which Lwówek Śląski became a partner in PWiK Bolesławiec and acquired shares with a total value of PLN 16,253,700.
To cover its contribution, Lwówek Śląski provided water-supply and sewerage infrastructure as an in-kind contribution. As a result, the company’s capital increased and currently amounts to PLN 27,253,700.
Following the agreement, the company will conduct business activities as part of the delegated own tasks of the municipalities forming the “Bóbr” Inter-Municipal Association, as well as the Municipality and City of Lwówek Śląski, in the area of municipal services related to water supply and wastewater disposal.
As a result of Lwówek Śląski joining the company, the enterprise’s fixed costs will be divided among the municipalities that use PWiK’s services. The municipalities of the “Bóbr” Inter-Municipal Association and Lwówek Śląski will have separate tariffs.
