Questing (an educational outdoor game), also known as “Discoverers’ Expeditions,” is a programme promoting in Poland and abroad a method of discovering and promoting a given place based on its local cultural, natural and historical heritage. This educational outdoor game combines elements of fun and learning, treasure hunts and the joy of discovery.
Quests are unmarked routes that participants follow using rhyming clues. They are also an attractive tool for regional education. Each quest presents a specific topic, which is why several Discoverers’ Expeditions presenting different aspects of local character may be created in one locality.
In the Bolesławiec Municipality, it is possible to learn about the history and beauty of two villages in precisely this unusual way. Themed quests have been created in Lipiany and Kraśnik Dolny.
The Discoverers’ Expeditions are available on the quest website. After selecting the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and Bolesławiec County, a list of all quests from our county will be displayed. After clicking on the one that interests us, we can print out the completed expedition and test ourselves while visiting the locality and discovering its beauty. Downloadable versions can also be found on the website of the Municipal Office.
