On Saturday at noon, more than four hundred spectators watched Sergei Prokofiev’s most popular symphonic fairy tale, “Peter and the Wolf.” The excellent combination of music and the story of Peter, who must stand up to a dangerous wolf, has an additional educational dimension. Prokofiev’s music, composed for the fairy tale, also familiarizes audiences with various instruments.

The performance at Forum was created using the “black theatre” puppet technique, extremely popular in the Czech Republic, in which appropriate lighting conceals the puppeteers dressed in black from the audience. Thanks to the vividly designed puppets, it was a mysterious and colorful performance.

Good programming was paired with a good price. A ticket for the performance cost only 10 zlotys. The next performance by Jeleniogórski Theatre will take place on 29 March. This time, it will be a story about the adventures of Sinbad the Sailor, adapted by the renowned Polish poet and writer Bolesław Leśmian. Reservations on the Forum cinema website.
