The incident occurred on Monday, February 24. A city bus and a Volkswagen Golf collided at the intersection of Jeleniogórska and Podgórna streets. The force of the impact was so great that it threw the passenger car several dozen metres towards Komuny Paryskiej Street.
Three people were injured—two from the bus and one from the Golf—and were taken to hospital. Police are directing traffic at the intersection. Preliminary police findings indicate that the Volkswagen driver was travelling along Podgórna Street, entered the intersection on a red light and collided with the bus.
