The candidacy of Cezary Przybylski for the position of Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship is supported by the Chairman of the Civic Platform in Lower Silesia and Vice-President of the European Parliament, Jacek Protasiewicz.

During Thursday’s press conference at the Bolesławiec county office, Cezary Przybylski confirmed that he is a candidate. Formally, everything is to be decided by the party’s statutory bodies—the board and the regional council—while the final decision will be made by the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Assembly. The assembly will meet on February 12. Przybylski’s election as marshal is almost certain, especially since no names of opposing candidates have appeared anywhere.

The new starosta of Bolesławiec County will most likely be Dariusz Kwaśniewski, the current board member and Cezary Przybylski’s closest associate.
