Criminal investigators from the Bolesławiec police station detained a 32-year-old man suspected of two thefts committed at the turn of December 2013 and January 2014. According to the police findings, the resident of Bolesławiec stole a bicycle worth 600 zlotys from one of the basements in a residential building in December 2013. After carefully analyzing the evidence and materials collected in the case, the officers proved that the man had committed a second theft as well. This time, the thief stole a laptop. The incident took place in mid-January of the current year. The perpetrator entered a service establishment and, taking advantage of an employee's inattention, stole a computer worth 1,500 zlotys.
“Stealing the computer was just spontaneous”—this is how the suspect detained by officers from Bolesławiec County explained himself. The man stole the laptop and later wanted to sell it. The detainee will now face trial for his actions. Theft is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
