The Reunion of Graduates of Kruszyn Primary School, who completed their education between 1947 and 1999, took place on January 25. More than 100 people attended the ceremony, including the head of Bolesławiec Municipality Andrzej Dutkowski, his deputy Roman Jaworski, Chair of the Municipal Council Bogusław Uziej, councillor Grażyna Łucka, Łaziska village head Joanna Łucka and Kruszyn village head Henryk Ostrowski.
There were also tears of emotion. The graduates had the opportunity, among other things, to tour the school and watch an artistic programme performed by the current students of Kruszyn Primary School.
The event was combined with the opening of the “School Years” exhibition. During the opening, Maria Rudyk and Bolesław Kalenik recalled their school years. The event was organised by the Public Library of the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn, and Kruszyn Primary School.
