A Croatian Evening was held in Lipiany, a small village in Gmina Bolesławiec. Crowds of spectators attended. The first item on the programme was a tasting of several types of pita and burek. The Croatian specialities were prepared by members of the Association of Active Women in Lipiany.
There were also artistic performances. The participants of the vocal workshop classes in Kruszyn, a trio consisting of Agnieszka Orawiec, Milena Gajewska and Daria Konefał, Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Ziemi Bolesławieckiej and Gminny Zespół Pieśni i Tańca „Jutrzenka” performed on stage.
The evening concluded with everyone dancing the Croatian kolo. The event was organised by Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu w Bolesławcu z/s w Kruszynie and the Association of Active Women in Lipiany. More information and photos can be found on GOKiS’s Facebook profile.
