Two fountains have been opened in Bolesławiec. One is located next to the Stary Teatr on Sądowa Street, and the other in the park on Bankowa Street.
The water sprays thanks to modern installations. The purchase of new equipment and renovation of the old equipment cost PLN 30,000. The fountains operate in a closed-loop system. The water supply network is used only for as much water as is needed to fill the basin. Then, thanks to pumps, the water circulates in a closed loop. This means there is no need to use the water supply network constantly, resulting in savings on fees. The investment should pay for itself within a year.
