The Mayor of Nowogrodziec Robert Relich thanked Karol Łapot for his many years of dedicated work as director of the Independent Public Healthcare Institutions Group. As of 1 January 2014, this position is held by Robert Adaszewski. The new head of SPZZOZ was selected through a competition. The committee consisted of Robert Relich, Jacek Ruchała, Wilhelm Tomczuk, Arkadiusz Kosior and Marcin Krzywdziński.
