The most important orlik football tournament of the year, the Jelenia Góra district championship, took place on Saturday, December 21, in Jelenia Góra. Eight teams qualified for the competition: BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec, Lotnik Jeżów Sudecki, Olimpia Kamienna Góra, LTS Leśna, Karkonosze Jelenia Góra, KS Talent, UKS Pieńsk and Skorpiony Lubań.

After easily advancing from the qualifying group, the BKS players faced a well-playing UKS Pieńsk team, which they decisively defeated 5:1, thereby securing their place in the final. In the final, the players coached by Mirosław Szapiel met Skorpiony Lubań and once again showed good form, defeating their opponents 5:0.

Individual awards were also presented. The award for top scorer once again went to Jakub Rissman (BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec), Szymon Fita (BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec) was once again named the tournament’s best goalkeeper, while the award for best player went to a footballer from UKS Skorpiony Lubań.

The team’s coach is Mirosław Szapiel, and the team manager is Janusz Rajczakowski.
