The Canon dance group from the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre took part last week in the 4th National Youth Dance Tournament “Wirująca strefa” in Łomża. The girls brought two awards back to Bolesławiec. Their greatest success was taking second place in the under-15 hip-hop formation category. The formation dancers were: Paula Permus, Natalia Zioła, Sandra Fiałek, Marlena Fiałek, Roksana Kozłowska, Daria Paralusz, Agnieszka Nowak and Vanessa Piotrowska. In addition to taking second place in the formation category, Paula Permus and Natalia Zioła took fifth place in the under-15 hip-hop duet category.
The girls from the Canon dance group, in the lineup mentioned above, have been dancing and representing the city for three years. They are coached by modern dance instructor Katarzyna Tomczyk. The group’s trip to Łomża was co-financed by the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
