Jacek Dudyński will take up the new position in January 2014. Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska, director of BOK-MCC, is certain that the manager of the Cultural Integration Centre will be a support to her.
– Jacek Dudyński’s experience determined his candidacy – says Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska. – While working in the social affairs department, Dudyński cooperated with our centre, learned about its mission and knows what tasks we are to carry out in the city. In terms of expertise, he is excellently prepared. He worked on many EU projects, felt capable of taking up this position and is ready to work – adds Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska.
Construction work to adapt the former Orzeł cinema for the Cultural Integration Centre in Bolesławiec was completed in the summer of this year. The autumn was devoted to purchasing and installing equipment. The centre will officially open in January 2014.
As a result of the investment, the existing building that formerly housed the Orzeł cinema was redeveloped. The arrangement of the interior walls was changed, and the adjacent courtyards were redeveloped. The facility was planned to include: an auditorium with an additional cinema function, photography and film studios, hygiene and sanitary facilities, and utility rooms.
