At the Bolesławiec Cultural Center–International Ceramics Center, the Christmas season “Around the Star of Kindness” will begin on December 6. One of the events that day will be an opening ceremony at 6:00 p.m. in the lobby of BOK-MCC.
During the opening, a Christmas tree decorated in four different ways will be presented. One section will be airy and elegant, like the Snow Queen. The decorations in the second section will refer to Bolesławiec’s ceramic traditions. The third section will be decorated in an American style, while the fourth will refer to the tradition of Łowicz Christmas-tree decorations.
The festive atmosphere will be completed by an exhibition of Nativity scenes submitted to a competition held under the patronage of President Piotr Roman. Everyone who comes to see them will be able to vote for the most beautiful Nativity scene. The competition results will be announced on December 20 during the Bolesławiec Star of Kindness event.
