The incident took place on Thursday, November 21, in Iwiny (Warta Bolesławiecka gmina). At around 4:18 p.m., a woman driving a Fiat Punto wanted to turn onto a minor road (near the school). She did not notice the motorcycle driver and passenger traveling along the main road. A collision occurred, as a result of which only the two-wheeler’s passenger was injured. The man was taken to hospital. His life is not in danger.
The motorcyclist fled the scene. Preliminary findings by the officers indicate that he was riding without his lights on.
