The modernization of Tyrankiewiczów and Bielska streets is nearing completion. It was made possible through the combined financial contributions of Bolesławiec County, the Municipality of Bolesławiec, and funds from the state budget. A new roundabout has been added on Tyrankiewiczów Street to improve traffic flow, while Bielska Street now features a safe narrowing. The modernization of Asnyka Street is also planned. The entire investment, including the renovation of Asnyka Street, will cost approximately PLN 2 million.
The changes in central Bolesławiec do not end there. Bolesławiec County allocated PLN 167,000 for a major renovation of Mickiewicza Street. The Municipality of Bolesławiec contributed just under PLN 50,000. Considerable difficulties were encountered during the renovation, ultimately requiring further difficult financial decisions concerning repairs to the damaged sewage system and drainage manholes. This expanded scope of work will certainly affect the date when the street is reopened, so residents will have to be patient.
Furthermore, another investment has begun במסגרת the “National Programme for the Reconstruction of Local Roads – Stage II: Safety – Accessibility – Development.” This is the “Reconstruction of County Road No. 2272D – Stage III – Pasternik – Wierzbowa.” Its cost is PLN 2 million 720,000. The contractor is already completing work on this section.
