As we can read on the website of the Bolesławiec Marian Basilica (Roman Catholic Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Nicholas), “long efforts to obtain the relics of St. Nicholas, co-patron of our basilica, have brought positive results.” The relics will be brought to Bolesławiec by Italian Archbishop Francesco Cacucci, Metropolitan Archbishop of Bari-Bitonto. The church dignitary will enthrone the relics of Saint Nicholas during Holy Mass, which will take place on Sunday, December 1, at 12:30 p.m..
