The incident occurred on Sunday evening. Just outside the city limits, on Kościuszki Street, a passenger car driver hit a pedestrian. According to police findings, the man entered the roadway. It is already known that the injured pedestrian, a resident of Bolesławiec Municipality, was drunk and had nearly 3‰ of alcohol in his blood. He was taken to hospital.
At the site of the collision, the road was unlit. In addition, it was raining, which worsened the road conditions.
