Maria Szydlik, a Russian language teacher and librarian at I Liceum Ogólnokształcące, and Anita Nakonieczna, an economist, teacher at Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych, member of Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Gospodarcze and a volunteer involved in many charitable initiatives, including Szpikolada, have died.
A Mass for Maria Szydlik will be held on October 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius (Łasicka Street). The funeral will take place on the same day at the cemetery in Stary Węgliniec (at 1:00 p.m.).
A Mass for Anita Nakonieczna will be held on October 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Zamkowy Square). The funeral Mass will take place on October 8 in the chapel at the municipal cemetery, starting at noon.
