The ninth Lower Silesian Women’s Forum, “A Village Full of Investment,” took place on September 25 at the Lower Silesian Agricultural Advisory Center in Wrocław. During the meeting, Grażyna Łucka, a councilor of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council, received a prestigious distinction—the Crystal Clover.

Grażyna Łucka, from Łaziska near Bolesławiec, has worked for the local community for years. She is active in local government authorities, women’s organizations, associations and local action groups. She was nominated for the 2012 Women’s Activity competition by the Association of Active Women in Lower Silesia.

Grażyna Łucka is a councilor, chairwoman of the Rural Women’s Circle, founder of the Nasze Łaziska Association, secretary of the District KGW Council in Bolesławiec, and leader of the 4H Wesołe Aniołki club.

“The club brings together more than 10 people. The children and young people are very involved in our activities, which makes me extremely happy and gives me the strength to carry out further plans,” says Grażyna Łucka. “It is an honor and a great distinction for me. By working every day for our local community, I do what I enjoy, and I am pleased that this has been noticed and appreciated.”
