15 of the country’s best junior teams competed in Częstochowa on Saturday, September 21, for the title of Polish champion. In recent years, the only team representing Lower Silesia in this prestigious competition was MKS MOS Wrocław. In 2013, MKS Bolesłavia Bolesławiec joined them.

Bolesłavia finished 10th in the team classification. MKS Bolesłavia athletes accumulated 2,732 points. The most points in her main event (110 m hurdles) were scored by Małgorzata Markowska’s trainee, Ewa Ochocka. Her result of 14.15 (156 points) was one of the best at the championships. The following athletes also scored more than 130 points: Kacper Olszewski (coach: Tomasz Markowski) in the shot put—17.44; Bartosz Wróbel in the 2,000 m steeplechase—6:00.08 (coaches: Małgorzata Markowska/Marek Adamek); and Dawid Kopała in the hammer throw (coach: Tomasz Markowski)—59.10.
