Bolesławiec police officers conducted the “Bus” operation on 18 September. In recent years, the number of private transport operators has increased sharply, as has the number of accidents involving buses and lorries. The recurring “Bus” operation aims to improve the safety of transported passengers and other road users.
Officers detained 36 registration certificates (due to the poor technical condition of the vehicles) and issued 38 fines (for technical condition violations and exceeding the speed limit). What is more, police caught a drunk driver.
