Throughout the summer holidays, BOK conducted theatre workshops with young people from middle and secondary schools. The workshops focused on adolescence, the situation of young people in the contemporary world, and contemporary art. Alongside the theatre activities, the “BolesławiecJa” photography project was taking place. Anyone could send in a portrait photograph (regardless of its quality) and thus contribute to creating an exhibition symbolizing the integration of Bolesławiec residents in their hometown.
The finale of the summer Action took place on 15 September in the Forum’s hall and on its stage. The “BolesławiecJa” photo exhibition was combined with a performance by the Interactive Group of Animation Activities and the production “Mój Ropenfeld,” which was the culmination of two months of work during the theatre workshops.
The Interactive Group of Animation Activities has operated at BOK since October 2004 and brings together middle-school and secondary-school students as well as adults. “Mój Ropenfeld” is the Group’s third production. The “Absolutely Spontaneous Not Very Logical Summer Action” is a project carried out by Marta Jowczuk of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre. The project is supported by the City Office.
